Innovation Learning Labs- Ukraine
Expanding access to modern educational tools and empowering young Ukrainians
About Innovation Learning Labs
Innovation Learning Labs are extracurricular community centers where children participate in modern, hands-on educational activities. We partner with local community centers and groups to revitalize community spaces, deliver educational tools, and conduct trainings for teachers and young leaders.
The Russian invasion forced many Ukrainian schools to operate hybrid or fully remote curriculums. Our Innovation Learning Labs supplement kids' education with interactive experiments and empower future Ukrainian professionals.

Where We Work
In January 2023, our team established the first Innovation Learning Lab in Ternopil, Ukraine. Now, HIG is working together with the Ukraine Ministry of Family, Youth and Sport to expand this project to four other cities throughout Ukraine.
And we’re not stopping there! HIG is seeking partners to scale this project in 2024 and make sure every Ukrainian has access to an interactive education.

Our Approach
HIG responds to the real needs of communities where we work. We adjust our exhibits and trainings, refurbish community spaces, provide humanitarian aid supplies, and more. We empower and equip our community partners to promote locally-led development.
We need your help!
Together with local partners, HIG finalized reconstruction and exhibit plans for Innovation Learning Labs in Vinnytsia, Kamianske, Pereiaslave, and Nizhyn. We've started manufacturing exhibits and planning trainings and support programs. Supported by the ministries of Education and Family, Youth and Sport, our Innovation Learning Labs will fill the gap between local schools and regional science centers. Our goal is to establish at least two Innovation Learning Labs before the start of the school year, and we need your help!
